Hi, I’m Megan from Light My Bricks! I love working on colourful sets, and this LEGO® Christmas Wreath is one of the most festive builds around. With its lush green foliage and cheerful red, white and gold accents, it already makes a fantastic decoration—but with the right lights, it transforms into something truly magical. The lighting process is simple, but the effect is spectacular, making it an easy way to bring some extra sparkle to your LEGO® display this holiday season.

Multicolour Magic
The LEGO® Christmas Wreath 2-in-1 #40426 is full of festive detail, and adding dynamic lighting enhances that warmth and joy. To light it up, I used two Astro Light Strings with 10 Multi-Colour LEDs. These special components gradually shift through a spectrum of colours at varying speeds, creating a twinkling, ever-changing effect—just like real Christmas lights.
Each string is woven carefully through one side of the wreath. LEDs are pinned inside the white baubles and nestled beneath the LEGO® leaves, producing a soft, glowing effect that highlights the detail of the foliage while casting playful shadows. The result is a wreath that feels alive with colour, making it an instant holiday centrepiece.
Both strings plug into a discreet Dock 3 hidden at the back of the build. This keeps all the wiring neat and allows the colour-changing lights to take centre stage. The setup is quick and straightforward, but the end result is rich, vibrant, and full of festive charm.
